Hezbollah Claims 'Credit' for Downed Drone in Israel

TEL AVIV – The Iranian-backed Hezbollah terrorist group today confirmed it was behind the drone that was shot down by Israel after aircraft entered its airspace last week.

WND was first to report last week that Hezbollah was responsible for sending the drone, according to Middle East security officials. 

Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah claimed today that the drone was shot down near the Dimona nuclear reactor.

“The drone flew over sensitive installations inside southern Palestine,” he said in a televised speech.

Earlier today, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu accused Hezbollah of sending the drone.
